So, a day at the races - well a long weekend actually. A mini TVAM trip ooop North, culminating in a cold day at Oliver's Mount

It's one of the very few road racing circuits left, and it truly is on a public road. A very narrow public road closed off for the racing weekend, a couple of steep hills and loads of nadgery corners. I've never been on a 'circuit' where I could spectate from so close to the action - in lots of places just a picket fence between you and the (incredibly brave) riders.

Also learnt that my photographic skills could do with a bit of honing - having said that, the racing was all a bit of a blur!
