| I really like these new wave customs, everything from intricate engineering to pared down simplicity, simply amazingly creative. Plus gourmet burgers, designer bar, proper coffee, haircut or tats available too, overall a lovely buzz to the whole event. Took the car there, this was a mistake as even on a Sunday we got snarled up coming in and out, next time it'll be two wheels. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
And so to Wapping, for the Bikeshed MCC show at Tobacco Dock, a failed mall (nobody came) that's gradually re-inventing itself. Great space, great show, and rammed. The number of bikes on display was smaller than I expected, but they were practically all remarkable. Spread between four or five ex-shops, the show was dwarfed by the rest of the mothballed complex. |
