A trip to the home of the greasy finger photo - yup, Haynes of manuals fame is also home to a rather spiffy motor museum. It's big, and there's a lot of stuff in there, overwhelmingly cars but some interesting bikes as well, in particular a big section on speedway, which is neglected in other dedicated bike museums. No real theme, old and new, UK and foreign profiliferate, there's even a hall dedicated to red cars (I kid you not). I guess my favourite would be the totally OTT hot rod, unfortunately my photo doesn't do it justice. Massive collection of big old yankee cars was pretty impressive too!
